Love Is Blinds is a national custom window treatment brand with locally owned locations across the country, and this one is Iowa's. We operate out of Norwalk and serve all of Des Moines and the surrounding metro, from the established neighborhoods of the city core to the fast growing suburbs of Ankeny, Waukee, and Grimes, and everything within about a two hour drive.
Being part of a national brand means access to the selection, standards, and pricing of a big company. Being locally owned means the person who shows up at your door lives and works right here in Central Iowa, and treats your home accordingly. You get both, and that combination is the whole point.
We do not have a storefront you drive to, because window treatments should be chosen in the room they will live in. Colors read differently in your light than under showroom fluorescents, and no display wall can tell you how a shade will look against your trim, your furniture, and your view.

There is no rotating crew and no handoff where details get lost. That continuity is the single biggest reason our installs fit the way they do.
Everything we sell is custom made to your exact windows: real and faux wood blinds, shades of every kind from roller and cellular to Roman, woven wood, and banded, plantation shutters, exterior patio shades, and full motorization with app and voice control. We carry the brands homeowners ask for by name, including Hunter Douglas, Norman, Alta, Rowley, and SunPro.

We are open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday 7am to 9pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm, because window treatment decisions happen on evenings and weekends, not banker's hours.
