Alternating bands of sheer and solid fabric slide past each other as the shade adjusts, so the same shade shifts from softly filtered light to solid privacy with one motion. They are striking, modern, and genuinely functional.

Align the sheer bands and the room fills with soft filtered light and a view out. Slide the solid bands together and you have real privacy. That range used to take two separate treatments layered on one window, and banded shades do it in a single clean panel, which is why they took off so quickly.
